Cynthia grew up in Las Vegas, has been married for 33 years to a wonderful man, has three beautiful children and three adorable grandchildren. After her last 15-year jaunt in the corporate world as Director of Information Management, she now owns, operates and manages two companies…Jus Run LLC and Desert Home Inspections, Inc.,who she partners with her husband, Tim. But her passion – running!

Cynthia’s running journey first started 18 years ago when she set out to do her first marathon with Team in Training. Since completing her first marathon, she has gone on to complete over 100 full, half and ultra marathons, as well as a few triathlons.

Because of her love for the sport, Cynthia wanted to find a way to encourage other people to experience that same incredible feeling…that sense of accomplishment she gets every time she crosses the finish line of an endurance event. So 16 years ago, in an attempt to reach out to more people to get them moving, she started coaching!

Cynthia is a certified RRCA, TNT and USATF run coach and has trained over 600 people to complete a full or half marathon with a 100% success rate! Cynthia has been an accomplished group coach for ‘Team in Training,’ the endurance training program for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and ‘Determination,’ the  endurance training program for The American Cancer Society. She was the Head Run Coach for the ‘Rockin Runners,’ a running organization in Las Vegas for two years.  Cynthia also brought her coaching program to Desert Sky Adventures in 2011, which she also co-owned for two years.

Her vision was to have a year round running/walking group to make available a venue where runners and walkers could meet up weekly to run and/or walk to train for a half or full marathon or to just train for fun…so, Cynthia started her own race management and coaching company, Jus Run LLC, and now has built a year round running/walking group where people of all different ages, shapes, sizes, paces and endurance levels meet up every week to train. It has become a little running family! 🙂

Cynthia also started Jus Run to further expand her reach into the community, to provide more opportunity for runners and walkers of all levels to participate in a variety of different running and walking events…from 5Ks on up to 100-mile ultramarathons. Cynthia to date, has put on more than 100 running and walking events and all of them have benefited various charitable organizations. Cynthia created Jus Run to be a complete race management company, to provide everything from consultation, to registration, to course set up and scoring. A portion of the proceeds from all Jus Run events are donated to Alzheimer’s Research and Caregiver Support. Cynthia’s motto is, “Jus Run…keep your memory alive!”

Because of Cynthia’s great efforts towards giving back to the community, Cynthia won The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year for 2010. She has been featured on radio interviews and various newspaper articles with regard to her coaching and philanthropic activities. She has been a keynote speaker at various informational meetings for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The American Cancer Society and Run For God, encouraging people of all walks of life to participate in an endurance event while at the same time giving back and saving lives.

Cynthia instills an environment that is not just about running and/or walking to complete a marathon or a half marathon. She creates an environment to make running and walking fun and encourages people to make it become part of their everyday lifestyle, while making good friends along the way. Since Cynthia started running 18 years ago, she has met thousands of amazing and unique people and has made so many lifetime friends, and they all have become her extended family. As she continues her running journey, she hopes that you will come along and start your journey with Jus Run!
