Saturday, May 10, 2014….7:00 am
The 5th annual Mother’s Day weekend event will take place this year at Floyd Lamb State Park, formerly known as Tule Springs…an oasis in the desert of northwest Las Vegas! Its history includes an early winter stopping point for Native Americans, and later a working ranch.
Experience calm and peaceful surroundings as you travel the basin trail around the park. Scenic paths offer views of the Sheep Mountains, beautiful desert landscape and an abundance of peacocks, ducks and geese! The nature paths take you along the lakes and shade trees of one of the oldest parks in Nevada.
