Chip started training and running about ten years ago. After letting himself go for years…he was overweight and out of shape…he transformed himself to become the runner he is today. He has run countless marathons, half marathons, 10Ks, 5Ks, Ragnar Relays, Tough Mudders and triathlons from sprints up to full Ironmans, as well as a few ultramarathons.
Chip is a certified run coach and certified personal trainer. He is constantly striving to better himself in all aspects of life from running, to nutrition, to an overall healthy lifestyle. He started from rough beginnings to learn proper nutrition, and how to lose weight and not sacrifice performance.
Chip loves this sport…if he is not running or working out, he is reading about it to better himself and keep up with the trends, both old and new. Chip loves to help all runners from novice to advanced in all aspects of a healthy lifestyle!
