Floyd Lamb Park – Thanksgiving Morning

Get those turkey tail feathers and pilgrim’s hats on and join us for our annual Thanksgiving day run!
All participants will receive a really cool long sleeve tech shirt and awesome finisher’s medal!
There will be 10K and 5K Overall awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female and 10K and 5K Age Division ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female!
Come on out and enjoy music, food and lots of fun for a Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

Friends, family members or co-workers are able to pick up your packet for you if you are not able to attend packet pick up. You are also able to pick up the race packets for your friends, family and co-workers.
Although we would prefer you to pick up your packet at packet pick up, if you are unable to, you can pick it up race morning up after 6:30 am.
Course:
The course is a combination loop and out and back and starts on the path adjacent to Group Area 4. The course starts out on a flat tree-lined nature trail that varies between asphalt and dirt and runs along the lake where you will enjoy lush vegetation, ducks and peacocks! Then it takes you out onto the crushed limestone basin trail around the park surrounded by beautiful desert landscape, shaded picnic areas and views of the Sheep and Spring Mountains.
This course is different from your basic road or park trail 5K races. It’s fun, fast and provides a variety of terrain and scenery. There is nothing difficult and no trail shoes needed! The 1-mile fun walk participants will follow the same course. It is easy walking for the beginner as well as a fast course for the advanced runner that wants to PR!

Parking: Parking is available in Parking Lots 4 and 5. Overflow parking is available in Parking Lots 3 and 2. After parking, walk to the race start area at Group Area 4.
The parking fee is included in your registration fee.
